Susan G. Koman is a woman that , before she fell victim to her battle against breast cancer, spoke of raging a war against the disease. Her sister continues that mission and you know it as the Susan G. Koman Foundation. The Race For The Cure is one of the biggest road race fund raising events in the world. This race alone has become the biggest fund raising entity to find a cure for  breast cancer unmatched globally.

We were so proud to be part of this amazing event.  What an incredible tribute to all effected by breast cancer.  Thousands of women united at Portland's Back Cove.  I brought my family as did many others. Our children fighting and supporting too.  They need to know their support is equally as important and that they can make a difference too.

We will be there again in 2011. The Susan Koman Foundation needs each and every one of us!!  Thousands will come and every penny will make a difference!
