You can trust that every purchase makes a difference. 2010 & 2011 have been our early years full of baby steps, however, we have paved the way to our future of fund raising. Our Mission is a new and unique fund raising initiative and community support entity with 100% of our net earnings to be donated to drug addiction management services, drug addiction support groups and rehabilitation services, charity or cancer research as decided by Lipgloss4lives. 100% of our net earnings from purchases placed on this website, at our retail location or at fund raising events will be reserved and allocated to appropriate recipiant decded by Lipgloss4lives after taxes are paid. The profit amount is calculated after product fees, shipping costs, taxes, and salaries are paid . The approximate or estimated amount of contribution of a purchase is up to 50% of the consumer's cost. Typical donation is $5.00 per product purchase.
Our Commitment and Pledge: We pledge to provide thorough and clear explanations of our earnings and donations for each fiscal year. We commit 100% of net earnings from the sale of "Pink Passion" to Breast Cancer Research. We promise to gather all other funds earned in a general fund where we will distribute money in an appropriate manner to charities or drug addiction management services we choose. We promise to reveal all earnings . We will disclose all donations to charitable organizations or cancer research facilities as they happen. As of March 2011, each time a purchase is made a receipt will be provided to the purchaser of the donation made on their behalf.

Our Pink Passion lip gloss is the official Breast Cancer Color for Lipgloss4lives. Every time this color is sold all of the profit will be donated to Breast Cancer Research. As of August 2010 we pledge all profits made from the sale of this color to Breast Cancer Research. We hope the orders pile in so we can present them with a hefty check every year!

Susan Komen Race for a Cure
Susan G. Koman fought breast cancer with every ounce of her soul. Yet she spent the last days of her battle with breast cancer and her life more focused on what could be done to make this terrible disease go away so other women would not suffer as she was. Her sister, Nancy G. Brinker was so moved by her sisters passion that she promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer for good.
So that promise is now Susan G Komen for a Cure, which is now the leader globally of the breast cancer phenomenon we are all partnered in today. They have invested nearly $1.5 billion since inception in 1982. The Susan G Komen race for The Cure has become the largest source of non profit funds dedicated to the battle against breast cancer in the entire world.
The Maine race happened Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Payson Park, Portland, Maine.

Preble Street
Florence House, A comprehensive center for women. Opened in early 2010, Florence House, located at 190 Valley Street, Portland, Maine, is affordable permanent, long term housing and shelter for Maine's homeless women. Currently, homeless shelters in Portland provide overnight accommodations for over 200 people, over 60 of them are women. Others find refuge in the woods, cars, and other outdoor hideaways. Ending homelessness is the goal of Preble Street. It’s first “housing first” program, Logan Place, opened in 2005 to offer permanent supported housing for Maine's chronically homeless. Florence House and Logan Place provide safety and stability as well as the resources to deal with the problems that cause homelessness and a chance to rebuild connections with their families and communities.

General Fund
While we collect from the sales of our Lip gloss, accessories and apparel, the profits are held in a general fund. From here we can manage our donations and control the flow of support to our various groups. We have a great team of accountants keeping the details in order so you can be sure your donation is being carefully collected and distributed.
