What business experience will you gain?
With this project you will be managing your own small business.  You will organize a sales team, develop marketing strategies, learn effective interpersonal communication skills, graphic design, create cost and profit analysis worksheets, develop a way to earn your business start up fees, establish a superior credit rating, earn business class credit (if applicable at your school), provide your clients with an in demand product and raise money for your group, class, college expenses or charity.

What kinds of products will you be selling?
Lip gloss.

How much money will you raise?
At least $500.00 above your product supply cost and possibly over $1000.00.  

How much will you spend to get your supply of lip gloss?
Each lip gloss you buy will cost you $5.00.  We will provide you with 100 tubes of lip gloss.  There will be 10 different shades. You will spend $500.00 to purchase your supply.

How much will you sell the tubes of lip gloss for?
At least $10.00.  Suggested retail price for this particular lip gloss product is $15.00.  However, there are things to consider when you decide what you will be charging your customers:
1) The age and economic standing of your potential customers
Higher volume of sales adds up more quickly than fewer higher priced items.
2)Is there a demand for this product? If your demand is high price can go up a bit if the demand is low keep your price reasonable in order to move your product.
3)You can always offer a sale or a discount on items/colors not selling well and increase the price of your most popular colors.
