Our second annual Spooky 5k will be held at Wilbur's Chocolate Factory in Freeport, Maine. There will be prizes for best male, female and kid costume! Show your stuff before, during and after the race! Awards for top three men and women over all as well as top three in your age group. Lipgloss4lives will be donating proceeds to the Carol Kaplin fuel assistance program. Winter can be tough, lets help those families that have difficulty heating their homes. Our first annual event raised $1800 in donations.

Maine Cancer Foundation Events
Twilight 5K
Team Lipgloss raised $912. for the 2010 event in June for Maine Cancer Foundation! Go Team Lipgloss!
"Thanks to the 460 runners who came out June 3rd to run in the 1st Annual Twilight 5K. Thanks to our sponsors and our volunteers for making it a night to remember!
Joanie Benoit Samuelson asked how many of you were running your first 5K. When you raised your hands it looked like there were about 40% of you that were doing something for the first time! We hope your experience was a memorable one!
Emily LeVan was an inspiration to us all with all of her running accomplishments! Thanks for sharing your family’s cancer journey with us. And of course, there was the Princess of our Twilight 5K - Maddie. She stole the show! Thank you Emily and Maddie, we loved having you there! Keep well!
Our event raised over $30,000 and we thank all of you for supporting the Maine Cancer Foundation! Your contributions will help us fund much needed cancer research right here in the State of Maine.

2011 will be the fourth annual for Maine Cancer Foundation's Tri for a CURE! All money raised from this event will support cancer research and patient support right here in Maine for Maine people! We are very excited about this very successful event and we are glad you want to be a part of it!
Maine Success Family Gala 2012
Bright lights, cameras, fashion and entertainment....so Hollywood!
This gala event will be like nothing Maine has ever seen. Put on your most fabulous gown, your tuxedo or suit and tie for the event of the year. This will be a highly publicized event so dress your best! This night is all about you and your family! A night out you'll remember forever. Dancing, fashion show, out of this world performances by some of our most talented young dancers.
This monumental event will become a yearly tradition that you and your family will not want to miss. All of the proceeds from this event will fund a "Maine Success" his and hers scholarship which will be awarded to two Maine High School Seniors that have consistently shown dedication to good choices, hard work and have the determination to succeed. These students have proven they are able to work hard, stay focused even through difficulty. We are looking for recommendations from guidance counselors and teachers and this scholarship is open to all Maine High Schools.The student must have an acceptance letter and a plan for enrollment in college.
